ENCAPSULATION OF MAGNETIC gFe2O3 NANOPARTICLES INTO POLYPYRROLE MATRIX

Abstract. Nanocomposites with magnetic nanosized cores encapsulated into
polymer matrix have some special applications: information storage,
ferrofluids, high-gradient magnetic separation and medical diagnosis. The
γFe2O3-PPy nanocomposite was prepared by the polymerization of pyrrole on
the
γFe2O3 nanoparticles. FTIR, XRD, EPMA, TEM experiments showed that the
polypyrrole partially covers the
γFe2O3 nanoparticles. |
