MODIFIED LADDER-TYPE BAW FILTER FOR AN OUT-OF-BAND REJECTION IMPROVEMENT

Abstract. Ladder-type filters based on Bulk Acoustic Wave resonator are the most straightforward configuration to implement. These filters present two transmission zeros, step rejection near the bandpass and poor out-of-band rejection. In this work, a modified Ladder-type BAW filter to improve the out-of-band rejection is shown by introducing a new pair of transmission zeros.
