4. 4M event: Microdosing Workshop: “Micropumps – on the way to an industrial manufactured product”, Fraunhofer IZM, Munich, Germany, 23 October 2007 [...details]
Micropumps will play an important role for future applications in a variety of fields. For fuel cells, such as direct methanol fuel cells (DMFC), micropumps are key components for the handling of fuel. In lab technology, micropumps improve the performance of pipettes and microtiter dosing systems in precisely controlling very small amounts of fluids. For medical applications, they are the key component of implantable dosing systems, sphincter prosthetics and infusion systems. In industrial process technology or consumer applications, such as dosing of scents, micropumps have further promising perspectives. A multitude of institutes and companies are active in the field of micropump development. This seminar will give an overview about current micropump development and promising future applications. The seminar will also give an insight to the challenges of transferring microfluidic research developments to industrial manufactured products. This one-day workshop at the Fraunhofer IZM is of interest for engineers and scientists who utilize micropumps or would like to acquire particular knowledge in this field. |

MINOS-EURONET On-line Brokerage
|
This web page is devoted to brokerage (facilitating matching of partners). The thematic area is structured by FP7/2007 calls. We are using the so-called "MINOS selection" (taken from NMP, ICT and Health themes). This selection is related to micro/nano/biotechnologies but advanced materials are also included. The MINOS selection from FP7/calls is available here. This includes the on-going calls on micro-nanosystems and photonics.
The brokerage can be "face-to-face" or "on-line" (using Internet).
Extensive on-line brokerage is provided by using databases for partner matching. Directly input of these databases here. These databases contain synthetic profiles of research groups, companies etc. and their expression to interest related to specific topics (calls). An advanced search mechanism gives easy access to all information, but in order to in use it, one has to introduce his/her own profile.
Please see useful information: On-line Brokerage web page [...]. |
