1. MINOS-EURONET SCIENTIFIC AND BROKERAGE EVENT: Scientific workshop: “Microsystems as a platform for integrating micro/nano/biotechnologies”, Info- and brokerage event: Micro- and nanosystems call in FP7/2007, Bucharest, Romania, 23-25 May 2007 [...details]
The event can be considered a follow–up of the concertation meetings organized by the European Commission on 18-19 January and 19-20 March 2007, respectively. As envisaged by the Commission, the consortia represented at the concertation meetings can organize their own special events for exchanging their scientific results, in particular as part of the preparation for participation to specific calls in FP7.
On the other hand, the scientific part, basically focused on “convergent technologies” will be combined with an appropriate brokerage event specifically devoted to the “micro- and nanosystems” call in FP7 (to be launched approximately mid May 2007). The rationale of this interaction is: a) the scientific output of FP6 could be a promising start for a proposal in FP7; b) some researchers and companies attending the scientific event may also display their profile/expressions of interest and participate to the brokerage part as well.
