2. Nanotechnology and complexity: Building functionalities from multitude, A seminar by the Observatory for micro & nanotechnologies, December 21, 2006, Paris, France [...details]
This state-of-the-art seminar is aimed to help scientist to integrate the multidisciplinary tools of complexity, in order to overcome the key issue due to the increasing number of constituents in the future of electronics and nanoscience.
One day to inquire on complex systems for nanotechnology: fundamental- current research- applications- future developments.
Since biology, computation science, physics, chemistry, electronics, mathematics, are involved in this problematic, the Observatory for micro & nanotechnologies proposes this multidisciplinary state-of-the-art seminar, devoted to do the spadework on this field, essential for the future developments of nanotechnologies for computation

3. NanoBio-Europe 2007, June 13-15, 2007, Münster/Germany [...details]
Europe’s leading congress on nanobio-technology offers three days of high level plenary talks and an industrial exhibition including company presentations. 8 workshops on specific issues held by speakers of international reputation from academia as well as industry will offer extensive information to participants from science and industry. Following Grenoble in 2006 Münster, a city of science and culture decorated with the International Awards for Liveable Communities (Livcom) will host the conference now for the second time. The programm consists of eight scientific sessions given by speakers of international reputation from academia and industry addressing the following topics:

At the beginning of each session an invited speaker will highlight a special hot topic of the area addressed by the session, followed by several shorter papers selected from the proposals for oral presentations (Call for Papers is open now). Special time and a large area is dedicated to poster sessions allowing in-depth discussion of scientific results. The scientific sessions are accompanied by industry presentations and an exhibition of major companies and European clusters. They will highlight the current and future application areas and active locations in Europe in the area of nanobiotechnology.
